We were approaching Elmo, she was so excited,
she wanted to jump out of Scott's arms.

She ran straight up to him. Big smacker! Huge hugs!

Big Bird felt a little left out, but he gave her a kiss on her head.

Elmo was shooing us away and wanted to keep her.

Seriously one of those moments when you are so, so, so happy for your daughter. Elmo and Big Bird were at Sea World(Thanks for the passes mom and dad). She was just taking in every precious moment with the red monster. She was acting like he was there just to visit her and she could not believe it. She even did one of her crazy fast feet dances and Elmo joined in. No one was in line, so we were just hanging out!

Will you brush mommy's hair?

Katelyn is 16 months and she loves to pretend play or interact with her dolls and toys. She likes to change and put a diaper on her dolls and they ALWAYS share her sippy cup with her. She loves to brush their hair. The words are really coming now. I need to really pay attention. Sometimes I almost miss she has started to say a new word. "Brooke" is her favorite word right now, but it is more like "Book." "Diaper" was a new one today.

Miss Big Shoes

We tell Katelyn that she needs to put on shoes before we go outside, and she always tries to put Scott's shoes on because they are always by the door. So daddy helped her this time.

Music Class

Katelyn is the youngest in the class. But she's got some moves! My favorite part is to watch her take an instrument on her own, amid the group chaos and actually put the instruments away when she is suppose to. It is the little things in a mom's life....
