Pre-Christmas Visit

Scott dressed up as Santa to visit Kate, Zach and Brooke at my parents' house. He was a little nervous. He thought Zach would recognize his voice. When we told them Santa was coming, Zach went over to the chimney to wait-precious. We told him he only comes down the chimney on Christmas Eve. Santa rang the doorbell and as soon as Kate saw him standing there she busted up crying-he hadn't even walked in yet! Zach's first comment was about Santa's running shoes under his tie-on boot covers. Guess we need to get some real boots.

This morning we asked Katelyn if Santa came to visit last night and she walked straight to out front door.

I guess you don't need to see Santa, just the idea of him is special enough. Still the pictures with Santa Scott Claus are pretty special too.

Not Scared of Santa her Size

She is really getting used to the idea of Santa and loves to hug and kiss him. Tonight she even tried to sit on him-even though he was standing. Thanks Mom for the cute PJs-I might need to wash them so they will shrink a little.

Encinitas Botanical Gardens

The kids got to have a playdate with Cole today. It was just another beautiful day in December. Life is good.

Friends and Football

Jerad, Jay and Sean came down for a boys weekend. It was sorta like Vegas, the third day was sorta rough. But they seemed like they had a great time.

I am just happy that the boys were there to distract him from the disappointing Chargers. That's what friends are for!

Santa Time

The Santa at the Forum Shops is the greatest! It is free, you take your own pictures, and he looks real. Katelyn had a bit of a hard time, to say the least. But she loved the horses this time! At one point, Santa told me to hold her and sit on his lap. I was going to crush him. He was a great sport.

Cousins in Town

Zoo again!!! It was a fun day with the fam. It is pretty special to see all the cousins playing together.

Shoes

Katelyn has a bunch of shoes that she is starting to fit into. So we tried on some this morning and then I put on the dress, so cute. But she won't let me take off the shoes. I even took off the dress and she wanted to keep the shoes on still.
I never was a shoe girl, but mostly because of the size of my feet!

Bangs!

I wanted to grow out her bangs, so I wouldn't have to worry about trimming them ever. But she refuses to allow anyone to put a bow or clip in her hair. We've even had clip boot camp. I give up for now. Right before the trim.

The Zoo Again

The Zoo is getting more exciting for Katelyn each time we go, it is so cute. She can really walk the trails by herself now. This time was special because Daddy, Grandma, and cousin Griffy came with us too!
